Brittany Sarkisian
Brittany Sarkisian is a Los Angeles based screenwriter/director. Originally from Miami, Florida she moved out west to pursue an acting career, where she spent years studying script analysis from the actors perspective, scene study, and sketch comedy. Britt began auditioning and soon became frustrated at the lack of female roles with substance that she could play. The opportunities were slim, and the roles undesirable, so she took it upon herself to begin writing herself a role in a screenplay. That one screenplay led her to getting literary representation, which led to her writing countless other projects. In 2016, Brittany sold her first screenplay, “In Real Life,” which got her into the WGA (Writers Guild of America). That same year, Brittany wrote, directed, and produced “The First Time,” a teen comedy short that premiered at the Academy Award qualifying festival, “Hollyshorts.” Currently, Brittany is in Pre-Production for teen comedy musical she wrote called “Allie Mitchell Must Win,” that she is set to direct Summer next year. In addition, she has three optioned features, out to market with Award winning producers attached.
Besides her own personal projects and specs, Brittany has been hired as a ghost writer on several well known films, and has worked as a freelance writer for the DIGITOUR, a live concert tour starring Youtube influencers, co-owned by VIACOM.
